This week, Mayor Lis Clark congratulated CEO Ingrid Stonhill on behalf of all elected members for officially "far exceeding expectations", determined by the CEO Review Panel.
The CEO Review Panel is a legislated process that annually ranks local government CEOs' performances against a range of criteria. The panel comprises two external local government experts and two elected members, and this year, they rated Ms Stonhill's performance as "Very Strong Performance – far exceeding expectations in all key factors." Their ranking was mirrored by a concurrent staff survey, which identified that staff felt a 'high level of satisfaction' with the CEO.
"On behalf of the Katherine Town Council Elected Members and staff, we congratulate our CEO, Ingrid Stonhill, on another successful year with many significant milestones achieved," Mayor Clark said.
"While a scan of Council papers shows the many achievements Ingrid has instigated over the past year, the standout for ratepayers is our Know Your Council – Katherine “Bubbles”, which provides easy-to-understand information about our core services, budget and projects. You can even check it on your phone.
"Thank you, Ingrid, for all your hard work, and we look forward to working with you for the next 12 months."
