The dry season has departed, the storms are brewing, and it's time to bring magic to the streets of Katherine with your grand designs of Christmas lights.
Festoon your home, garden and business with creative sparkle to be in the running for the Katherine Town Council Christmas lights competition.
Judges will be looking for creativity, overall appeal, and lighting brilliance. Businesses throughout Katherine are automatically entered into the competition unless they opt-out. The best window display will be honoured with the prestigious perpetual trophy.
Key dates:
Entries Open: 15 October 2024
Entries Close: 30 November 2024
Residential Judging: 10-11 December 2024 (from 6:45 pm)
Commercial Judging: 12-13 December 2024 (during business hours)
Categories & Prizes:
Residential:
- 1st Place: $500
- 2nd Place: $300
- 3rd Place: $200
