Katherine Town Council Mayor, Lis Clark, has announced that Council CEO, Ingrid Stonhill, has once again delivered an outstanding performance in her annual review, as determined by the CEO Review Panel.
This is Ms Stonhill's third performance review, which was assessed by a panel that included two independent members, a psychologist and a local government professional, and two elected members. The panel described Ms Stonhill's performance as 'exceeding expectations' across all key areas.
Mayor Clark congratulated Ms Stonhill on behalf of all elected members and highlighted her exceptional leadership and innovative approach to driving positive outcomes for the Katherine community.
"Ingrid is always looking for opportunities to access funding for improved infrastructure and consistently thinks 'outside the box' to deliver enhanced services and programs," Mayor Clark said.
"She has done enormous work to lift compliance and governance standards throughout the Council's operations, ensuring transparency and efficiency. Katherine Town Council is very lucky to have Ingrid as our CEO."
The CEO Review Panel is a legislated process that annually assesses the performance of local government CEOs against a range of criteria. A concurrent staff survey mirrored this year’s evaluation, which revealed a 'high level of satisfaction' with Ms. Stonhill's leadership.
"On behalf of the Katherine Town Council Elected Members and staff, we congratulate Ingrid on another successful year marked by significant milestones. We look forward to working with her to continue building a stronger future for Katherine," Mayor Clark said.
