Katherine Town Council was given the tick of approval by staff in their annual end-of-year anonymous staff survey. The survey, which aims to gather honest feedback from all staff members, has yielded remarkable results highlighting the Council’s commitment to personal development and effective management.
According to the survey:
- 8% of the team feel recognised when they do good work
- 5% of staff members report knowing what they need to do to succeed in their roles
- A notable 86.4% of the team view their manager as a great role model, showcasing the effectiveness of the Council’s focus on leadership development.
One of the most significant achievements revealed by the survey is the Council’s success in addressing underperformance and supporting managers in their roles.
Ingrid Stonhill, CEO and operations leader at Katherine Town Council, expressed her pride in the team’s accomplishments.
“I am extremely proud of what our team has achieved through our focus on personal development and its ripple effect on our community,” Ms Stonhill said.
“These results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and managers.”
Ms Stonhill added that the survey results clearly indicate the positive impact of Katherine Town Council’s initiatives on staff morale and performance.
“We will continue to prioritise personal development and effective management, which creates a strong work culture through supported and empowered staff delivering better outcomes for our community.
