Flag Design Competition are now on display at the Hot Springs.

The designs, created by local young artists aged 5 to 18, represent our town's culture, landscape, and community.

The competition, launched in June, invited youth to submit flag designs based on themes like The Colours of Katherine, What I See from My Window, and Faces of Our Community. Each design selected for display collectively showcases perspectives on what makes Katherine unique.

Mayor Lis Clark said the community should be proud of the talent displayed by our community's young people and thanked all those who participated in the project.

"Their designs reflect Katherine's character and diversity, and it's great to see them on display at the Hot Springs for locals and visitors to enjoy."

The young artists will each receive a certificate to recognise their achievements. The Council would like to hear from the creators of the three designs pictured below so we have a name and contact details for their work – please call 8972 5500.
