We’ve partnered with Melbourne International Comedy Festival to present DEADLY FUNNY 2023. Cheeky and loud, black and proud! Don’t miss this comedy showcase on 3 November and support the next generation of local comedy makers!
For 17 years this deadly competition has unearthed the freshest, fiercest, funniest comedians and yarn-spinners from the oldest culture on earth. Come together Katherine and join us for a laugh as we catch the future generation of stars before they become Australia’s next big thing.
The nation-wide Deadly Funny competition is open to First Nations comedians and storytellers. The program has seen the likes Steph Tisdell, Kevin Kropinyeri, Andy Saunders, Shiralee Hood, Dane Simpson, Elaine Crombie and Sean Choolburra emerge as both participants and mentors.
This one night only showcase is open to everyone, and will feature some great comedians from Melbourne International Comedy Festival along with our region’s rising stand-up stars. Grab a ticket for you and your mates – laughs are guaranteed! Performance starts at 7:00pm
