Council will close the Katherine Hot Springs Thursday November 24 for the duration of the wet season. This is part of council’s routine prep for the wet season as storms are already upon us 
We are aware that this is the Pop Rocket Cafe's last weekend open and people may still wish to swim. Swimming at the hot springs is always at your own risk. Once waters begin to rise it will become hazardous to swim and crocs can access the area  This closure relates to council's maintenance of the area. Council won't be maintaining the area around the springs until it is reopened which means walkways can get slippery and muddy.
