The Katherine community will gather to commemorate the sacrifices and service of Australia’s defence force at this year’s ANZAC Day dawn service and community march on Thursday, the 25th of April 2024.
Katherine Town Council will co-ordinate the annual event in collaboration with RAAF Base Tindal and Katherine RSL sub-branch.
A 5am Gun Fire breakfast at the Katherine Country Club precedes the 6am Dawn Service at the Katherine Cenotaph on Railway Terrace.
The Katherine Country Club will host a breakfast at 7am before the community march along Katherine Terrace starts at 9am from behind the BP at the eastern end.
