Katherine Town Council

Rates and Charges

Council rates are levied on each ratable property to raise funds to provide services and facilities to the community of Katherine.

Due to recent changes in 2015 to the Local Government Act, Council are now required to publish Rates Declarations for the past 3 years.  Please find below Rates Declarations from 2013/2014, 2014/2015 and 2015/2016.

The Katherine Town Council aims to keep rates as low as possible, consistent with Council's responsibility for the provision of services and management of assets.
